Christopher Keohane is the operations manager of Fresh Food Catering and one of the managing partners of the business. Christopher brings in over 15 years of fine food, restaurant and unique catering experience. Christopher started his career with his family at Henry’s Market as a young boy washing dishes and prepping food while working his way up to managing catering parties and departments within Henry’s. He went on to Arizona State University for college and worked through fine Italian, Greek and French restaurants bringing a team-driven and five star professionalism to everywhere he worked.
After college, as a result of the continued successes he has had in the food and beverage industry, he decided to create the business brand of Fresh Food LLC to run the Wenham Tea House Restaurant, the Fresh Food Cafe and Fresh Food Catering.
Being the visionary leader of Fresh Food, Christopher brings a passionate, team-driven attitude to the catering team and ensures every party catered is absolute perfection.
Christopher lives in Danvers with his wife Rachel and two young boys. While not serving tea at the Tea House, Christopher can be found gardening in his organic backyard garden, fishing for striped bass on his boat or diving shipwrecks off the Massachusetts coastline.
Peter Capalbo is the Executive Chef of Fresh Food Catering and one of the managing partners of the business. Peter brings a deep understanding of classic Italian and French dishes with a specialty in fresh seafood, culminating in over 40 years of culinary experience.
Peter graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York thirty years ago and is formerly of the Union Grill and was the manager, operator and chef of Tryst in Beverly, where he was also the owner.
As a result of his continuous drive to source delicious and fresh ingredients to everything he makes, Peter has garnered a pristine reputation for exquisite culinary dinners and events throughout the North Shore.
Peter resides in Hamilton with his daughter, Mary Ella. When not cooking brunch at the Wenham Tea House, you can find him fishing for Striped bass off the waters of Beverly or listening to rock and roll on his porch over a fine cigar.
Colleen Boland is an accomplished hospitality industry professional, with over 15 years experience in private country clubs, hotels, fine dining and higher education environments. She started her career at the Essex County Club where she established lifelong Northshore relationships. Colleen then gave many years to Starwood Hotels learning all aspects of the hotel environment coordinating events for Fortune 500 companies to MLB teams from across the country. Emerson College knocked on her door to be their Catering Director working under both ARAMARK and Sodexo food services to plan Commencement Receptions, Open Houses, and dinners at President’s house.
As a result of her extensive background, Colleen knows what truly drives client conversations, exceeds customer expectations, and makes our guests happy. It’s her strong passion for superb customer service, creative vision, and vibrant personality that fires her drive with each new event.
Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Endicott College.
Colleen resides in Beverly with her husband and two children. When she’s not busy planning events, you can find her practicing her culinary skills at home, being active outdoors, and spending time with her family at Good Harbor Beach.
Courtney Perkins grew up at the Wenham Tea House and learned unique, traditional recipes, cooking and baking styles from her grandmother. After graduating Hamilton-Wenham Regional Highschool, Courtney attended Stonehill College and Salem State Univeristy in Salem. Working her way through college at various bakeries and restaurants, she began to develop her passion for the food industry.
After college, Courtney decided to come back to the Wenham Tea House. Working alongside multiple different owners and management companies over the ensuing eleven years, she proved herself to be adept at every facet of the operation—from the back of the kitchen to the front of the house.
Now the kitchen manager of Fresh Food Catering and the Wenham Tea House, Courtney brings an aesthetic flair to all of our food presentations so it not only tastes delicious but looks spectacular.
Courtney resides in Malden and while not at work can be found singing, hiking, working out or trying new recipes at home.
